And for everyone who claim to be ''animal-lovers''... we hope you'd have mercy upon ALL animals at all times especially TURKEYS of which billions millions would have been killed by now for Christmas from all over the world. You see, animals are not just simply dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, rabbits etc. They include chickens (as smart & sociable as dogs), ducks, pigs (smarter than dogs, havin' the intelligence of a 3 year old child), cows, lambs, fishes etc. All of them are sentient living beings like us, created by God & should NEVER be seen & treated as mere food.

We also got groomed this Christmas mornin' by Mom! All of us except Chewy... well, because Mom says cats are naturally clean creatures blabla.. bla... I think she's just tryin' to imply that cats rule & dogs drool. hmph. That's SO-NOT-TRUE.

A Groom Before A Vet!

It's time for us to be groomed again after a really loooong while. Another reason for us to be groomed now is because we're off to the vet's tomorrow for our annual bloodwork and heartworm test. All paws & fingers crossed!

Cotton's last full-groom session should be 21st March if Mom remembered correctly. Or maybe she had another one later on... *shrugs*    *thinks hard*     Ok, I remember Mom trimmin' only her face in mid July [when we went to the railway station] because she was so lazy to trim her entire body. So yea... Wow! Cotton has got only two full-groom sessions in a entire year!

Mom always has to spend the most time and effort on Cotton because she's such a furball... so she was groomed yesterday while Lauryn and I were both groomed today.

My Groom

We've not had our full-groom for 3 months, & our baths in 2 months. And so Mom groomed us today. Cotton was given a basic-groom yesterday & I was partially groomed last night too (removal of my undercoat). Lauryn will just be bathed + trimmin of nails.

Cotton's 1st fur-cut in 2011

Mom always full-grooms Cotton once every 4 to 6 months. In between it will just be baths (& basic groomin) once every 6 to 8 weeks. Why? Cuz Mom is lazy as it really takes up ALOTA time to trim her thick coat -___-

Tools: Shaver (for shavin' pawpads & private parts). 3 Scissors for scissorin entire body, face & head. Slicker brush & Metal Comb for fluffin up the coat. Mom doesn't believe in shavin' any of our coats. I'm hand-stripped, Cotton's scissored, Lauryn's a natural coat & just removin her under coat whilst batheing will do, & Chewy's a well....... there's nothin to be done to her coat lol!

It's time again for Cotton to be full-groomed again today after 4 months. Her previous session was on May 25th '09.

As usual, Mom forgot to take a "Before" pix again. So the latest "Before" look we've for her is..........

Brows-Off, Lash-On

Mom had my eye-brows shortened til a half-muzzle length today, after 4yrs 4.5months of keepin the length of my brows. It has stopped growin as it has reached its growth-limit. Thus, Mom got real bored of them & decided it was time to be snipped off, by her.
